Quantity Surveyor - Elevation Recruitment Group : Job Details

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a leading specialist contractor who are looking for a Quantity Surveyor.

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be working on high value and critical projects, building relationships with a range of high-profile clients.

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for:

• Delivery, as part of a team, of successful commercial outcomes of key projects
• Commercial responsibilities from contract award through to completion and final account
• Managing variations and changes with customers working as part of an experienced commercial team
• Developing relations with a range of clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Working closely with internal departments to ensure successful, profitable outcomes

The Quantity Surveyor will need:

• Previous experience working as a QS or Assistant QS
• Construction industry experience in a commercial role
• Experience of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts
• Good communication skills with the ability to influence
• An understanding of fabrication processes is desirable
• Experience of managing and delivering variations whilst retaining relationships
