JOB – Research and Development ManagerLOCATION – Great YarmouthTERM – PermanentSALARY – £55,000 - £65,000 per annumMy client is a leading manufacturer of innovative products used in sectors including Energy, Marine, and Industrial Engineering. They are looking for a Research and Development Manager to join their team in Great Yarmouth.The Research and Development Manager will ideally have the following attributes:

• BSc/BEng in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant Degrees (ie. Physics, Mathematics, etc)
• 5+ years of management experience in an R&D environment
• Proven experience leading R&D projects from concept to completion
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative mindset
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

The Research and Development Manager role will involve:

• Managing a multidisciplinary team to develop and improve new and existing products
• Leading the innovation and development process from initial concept to market launch
• Collaborating with internal departments to ensure smooth product development and delivery
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and driving continuous improvement initiatives
• Managing project budgets, timelines, and resources to meet company objectives
