Our client, a manufacturer of electro-mechanical products, seek to appoint an R&D Manager to lead their design team. As R&D Manager you will manage a team of circa ten design engineers (electrical, electronic, mechanical and software) on a variety of R&D projects. You will be capable of galvanising a team to ensure optimum performance. On offer is an excellent financial package alongside the long term security provided by a growing and stable corporate employer.R&D Manager - Role and Responsibilities - Design Manager* Oversee R&D focused design projects from cradle to scope, feasibility study, design work, prototyping and test, production engineering, snagging, field support* Driving force of projects: liaise with internal stakeholders to deliver on-time and on-budget* Manage multi-disciplined project teams including mechanical, electrical, electronic and software design* Handle customer and supplier queries* Some travel required to customer sites as appropriate.
