Your new companyYou will be joining a leading retail company with an excellent reputation for its outstanding working environment and culture. The company is growing at an excellent rate and is developing its SSC footprint ahead of additional investment to support its growth plans across existing and new markets, alongside a large transformation project.Your new roleYou will be initially tasked to drive best practice across the R2R, working on standardising controls, processes and management reporting across multiple legal entities. You will play a key role in driving financial control by leading an effective and high-performing financial accounting and fixed assets team, whilst supporting the financial transformation programme and other business change activities. You will be working closely with project teams to identify and implement continuous process improvement opportunities and process transformation. You will be a key decision maker in defining new ways of working alongside key senior stakeholders and driving best practice around behaviours and the culture.What you'll need to succeedYou will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA - QBE will also be considered), with previous experience of dealing within large complex accounting structures within a Share Service Centre, with experience of managing an R2R team. You will need to have strong communication skills and be able to adapt and communicate with colleagues/stakeholders at various levels.
