RADAN Programmer - Jonathan Lee Recruitment : Job Details

**Exciting Opportunity for a RADAN Programmer in Telford, Shropshire**

We are proud to be working with a long-standing manufacturing business in Telford and helping them to recruit an experienced RADAN Programmer to join their dynamic team, contributing to projects that support blue-chip companies within the Utility, Infrastructure, Construction, Engineering, and Telecoms sectors.

The working hours are day shifts Monday to Friday (39 hours per week - including a lunchtime finish on a Friday), and the salary is up to £40,000 per annum (dependant on experience).

The hiring manager is looking for someone who has an understanding of fabricated parts, and has previous knowledge/experience with Press Brakes, Turret Punches, CNC machines and other fabrication processes (using RADAN software).

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has previously worked as a RADAN Programmer, RADAN Engineer, CAD/CAM Engineer, Production Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer and has some experience working with RADAN.

**What You Will Do:**

• Interpret engineering drawings to guide the production process.
• Manage production planning and create Bills of Materials for manufacturing.
• Schedule and oversee the flow of manufactured parts through various work centres.
• Program CNC lasers, routers, and turret punches using RADAN software.
• Ensure work progresses to meet set deadlines, adhering to specifications and quality standards.
• Provide technical support to the shop floor, bridging the gap between design and manufacturing.

**What You Will Bring:**

• Proficient understanding of fabricated parts and familiarity with fabrication processes.
• Skilled in programming with RADAN software.
• Experience with 3D CAD software is desirable but not essential.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interface between departments.

This full-time position is based in Telford, Shropshire.
