From our site on Davy Road, to the east of the town centre, we work with customers to co-develop new recipes for grocery private label products, retail restaurants, quick service restaurants, foodservice and food ingredients.AAK are seeking to appoint a Raw Materials Planner who will be responsible for determining the quantity and order date for materials needed to meet the master production schedule and tracking products from source to delivery ensuring safety stocks are adhered to.Responsibilities
- To order raw material components to meet the short/medium term production requirements across all production areas in line with forecast.
- Control stock movements into the site and external warehousing whilst working to strict storage constraints.
- Work alongside the Production Planners and facilitate where possible, fluctuations in demand against production forecasts.
- Highlight and raise supplier service issues to ensure timely component supply
- Work closely with the warehouse and procurement department to chase deliveries, outstanding orders, collections and returns whilst keeping all system data accurate.
- Develop and work with suppliers to determine a good working relationship
- Highlighting any impending stock outs. Weekly report to be issued.
