React & Typescript developer fintech London

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic React & Typescript developer to join our small, tight-knit tech team and help by building and maintaining innovative solutions as we rapidly scale.

Role details

• Title: React Developer
• Technical stack: React development, Typescript, JavaScript, AWS, Tailwind
• Permanent role, salary £50,000- £60,000
• Location: 3 days a week in London Paddington and home working hybrid
• Employer: FX & Payments fintech business

The project is a user centric portal so covers the below

• Sales
• Orders
• Transactions
• Trading
• Onboarding
• So, experience on any of these types of projects is beneficial but not essential

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable software using React, TypeScript & JavaScript
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, trading and Marketing, troubleshoot, support, and ship new features
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
• Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Implement robust security measures and data protection protocols
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends
• Mentor junior developers, fostering their growth and skill development

Key Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in React, , and TypeScript
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
• Experience in banking/ financial services with experience with FX or Payments is beneficial but not essential
• Must be UK-based with the right to work in the UK

Experience:

• React: 2 years+ (preferred)
• TypeScript: 2 years+ (preferred)
• JavaScript: 2 years+ (preferred)
• AWS, Tailwind
