(Dependent on experience you may be offered a startingsalary above the initial starting salary).You will have opportunities to progress your career with a structured learningjourney and clearly defined career pathways that will enable you to achieveyour long-term goals and work to your strengths.Whether you are looking to progress into a management and leadership role orto be a specialist in your field as an Advanced Recovery Practitioner atTurning point we will support and encourage you on your career journey.### Role ResponsibilityWe have an exciting opportunity to support the delivery of our psychosocial(PSI) group work programme, including our family & carers and aftercareprogrammes. The PSI Facilitator will be responsible for delivering severalgroup sessions, covering a variety of topics, and supporting service users tomove successfully through treatment.Using evidence-based programmes, you will support people to gain access totreatment to address their recovery goals. Working with other staff within theteam, you will deliver a range of programmes, including the Managing AlcoholProgramme (MAP), Reclaim for non-opiate users, and the Recovery SkillsProgramme (RSP) to support long-term recovery.You will join a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, recovery workers andpeer mentors and be required to work alongside a range of partners in criminaljustice, housing and health and social care.Please note that this role will require regular travel to other hubs asrequired, so you will need to have your own vehicle or be willing to usepublic transport.### The Ideal CandidateYou’ll have experience of delivering group work programmes, as well as anunderstanding of the theory behind the benefits of group work, and experienceof using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing(MI) skills to help empower service users to make sustained changes to theirlife. Experience of working with people using alcohol and other drugs would beideal but training will be offered to learn more about this if necessary. Youwill have a passion for leading change and an excellent level of communicationand organisational skills, including robust IT skills.You’ll understand alcohol and other substance use issues and the challengesand opportunities for individuals on a recovery journey. The role is varied,so flexibility, an ability to work dynamically on a one-to-one and groupbasis, and knowledge of relapse prevention and other skills to promoterecovery will be vital.
