Job Description :

We are seeking a Regional Employee Relations Specialist to join our clients Regional HR team in Avonmouth. This is an exceptional opportunity for a passionate ER expert to enhance my clients HR operations. You will be instrumental in leading regional ER topics, advising on policy, and managing local issues. This role requires a proactive individual who can support line managers with practical solutions to a variety of employee relations matters.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Provide advisory guidance and coaching on Employment Law policy to enable managers to deliver good people management practices.
  • Develop and implement local measures to limit legal and internal non-compliance risk.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in employment legislation and HR best practices.
  • Support managers with the administration of employment law related processes.
  • Identify Employment Law risks and escalate to the Regional Head of HR when necessary.
  • Coach Managers on Employment Law policy and best practice.
  • Analyse trends and ensure compliance through the review of the Case Management Tool.
  • Support the Head of HR with the coordination of the CMS programme for Employment Law.
  • Provide support to the local HR team on administration of Employee Relations topics.
  • Assist with the administration of ACAS and Employment Tribunal claims.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  •  CIPD Level 7 is desirable.
  • Significant Employee Relations experience, advising to middle management with up-to-date labour law knowledge.
  • Understanding of best practice and ACAS codes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and people skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and HR software proficiency.
  • Experience within a retail or hospitality environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong influencing skills and the ability to collaborate and share best practice.
  • Driving licence is essential, as is the ability to regularly travel within your geographic region
