Regional Finance Business Partner - MLC Partners : Job Details

MLC are working with a renowned INGO based in London who are looking for their new Regional Finance Business Partner. A newly created position, the role joins a high performing team, with a clear focus on providing financial support and direction to the Indian region. You will be responsible for more than £6m of commercial income, helping to deliver growth to one of their fastest growing areas. Given the extensive contact with the local team, the postholder will need to speak fluent Hindi.

Main responsibilities include:

• Business partnering with the executive leadership team of the Indian programme, providing financial support and meaning to their numbers.
• Work with the wider UK finance team to deliver the monthly results pack, detailing the commercial performance of the global for-profit element.
• Act as a liaison between the country team and the UK-based legal and compliance teams on issues that are broader than just finance.
• Provide financial analysis for the regional team, adding context and insight to the financial performance vs business plans.

The successful candidate will:

• Be a fully qualified accountant with strong experience as a business partner, being able to communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders.
• Be a fluent Hindi speaker, as a minimum be able to communicate at a business conversational level.
• Have a commercial mindset, with previous experience in the private sector and the ability to work in a standalone role.
