Regional HR Business Partner - Northern Region

Hybrid / field based role, with some time spent at home and / or the HQ in East Mids

c£60k plus car or car allowance

Are you an experienced HR professional seeking a dynamic and impactful Business Partnering role?

Our client is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team and play a crucial role in shaping the HR people plans within the Northern Region.

About the Role: As the HR Business Partner for the Northern region, you will be at the heart of the strategic HR activities, providing hands-on support and coaching to managers on a range of issues including, performance management, employee engagement and change management. Your expertise will be key in ensuring that the senior stakeholders are working to develop key HR initiatives and practices, and adhere to legal standards, reflecting best practices.

Position: HR Business PartnerLocation: Multi-site, with a base in East Midlands you will have the opportunity to travel around the Northern Region but also work from home and HQ two - three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with regional and service managers to develop effective people strategies that meet operational needs while mitigating risks.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, balancing strategic and operational HR tasks.
  • Lead HR projects from start to finish, with a focus on improving retention strategies and performance management.
  • Acting as an escalation point for ER casework across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with employment law.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in managing HR issues across multiple sites, with a solid understanding of TUPE.
  • Previous experience as a HR Busness Partner in a blue collar, multi-site business (ideally Logistics, Manufacturing, Wholesale)
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employment law.
  • A relevant HR qualification, preferably with CIPD membership.
  • Experience in a multi-site, field-based role is a plus, as is experience in developing and implementing strategic HR projects.
