We are seeking a driven Registered Home Manager to oversee the operations of a small residential care home supporting adults with complex mental health conditions. You will be a leader at the heart of the team, responsible for the overall management, efficient deployment of resources, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.What You'll Need
  • Qualifications & Registration: A nursing qualification and a valid UK NMC registration.
  • Leadership & Management Experience: Previous managerial experience within a mental health setting.
  • Regulatory Knowledge
    • A robust understanding of relevant regulatory frameworks, legislation, and regulations.
    • A solid understanding of safeguarding principles.
  • Skills & Attributes
    • Strong person-centred approach with a passion for developing others.
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.

What your day will look like:
  • Leadership & Service Management: Lead and manage the service to ensure high-quality care and compliance with all regulations.
  • Person-Centred Care: Oversee the development and implementation of individual care plans, ensuring they are person-centred.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage a dedicated team, providing guidance, support, and leadership to colleagues. Demonstrate experience in coaching and developing colleagues to reach their full potential.
  • Resource Management: Monitor and manage resources effectively to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Regulatory Compliance & Safeguarding: Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and all relevant legislation. Take part in on-call duties to provide leadership support during non-office hours.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with regulators and stakeholders to ensure service standards are met.
