Registered Manager - Children Residential Care Home - Caramel Talent Limited : Job Details

Overview We are seeking a dynamic Registered Manager to oversee a brand-new residential service for children in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the service, support a highly-trained team, and drive positive outcomes for children with disabilities.

Role

• Lead the submission of SC1 and SC2 applications for the home’s registration.

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the service, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements.

• Manage a team of 5 core staff and 3 bank staff, ensuring continued professional development and high morale.

• Develop the service from its current capacity of 2 to a 4-bed home.

• Liaise with conservation authorities to maintain the property while enhancing the site for children’s care.

• Collaborate with key stakeholders to grow the organization’s presence and outreach in the North West.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within children’s residential services.

• Strong knowledge of disability care and Ofsted requirements.

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).

• Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop staff.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Salary

• £57,000 per annum plus a £5,000 performance-based bonus.
