Registered Manager Role Overview:As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role is an excellent opportunity for a passionate, dedicated leader to make a real impact in the lives of residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the team of care staff, nurses, MDT and administration to ensure the smooth running of the home.
- Provide strong leadership and inspiration to deliver care that goes beyond expectations.
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and maintain a consistently high level of service.
- Develop, implement and oversee care plans that are tailored to the individual needs of each resident.
- Manage recruitment, training, and development of staff, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Maintain excellent relationships with families, residents and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor budgets and financial performance to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in care practices and services.
- Coordinate support worker rota
- To be conversant with the Mental Health Act 1983 and awareness of Mental Capacity Act 2005 and associated Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
The Ideal Candidate:
- Have been a CQC registered manager for at least 2 years
- Experience in the following Mental health settings - Rehab, Low secure or Forensic
- Experience with CPA process, PBS and My Shared Pathway (MSP)
- Understanding of the Mental Health act (1983) and other relevant legislation applicable to Mental health
- Understanding of Rehabilitation and Recovery service delivery pathways is desirable
- Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care using evidence based approaches
- Ability to supervise, teach and mentor Qualified and Unqualified Staff
- Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management
- Excellent people management skills, including supervision, appraisal and conflict resolution
- Ability to prioritise workload and delegate appropriately
- Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and the care standards required.
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
