• To complete the ongoing assessments for young people at crisis on the ward, or routine and in the community.
• To complete all assessment paperwork, contact any agencies and make appropriate referrals.
• To complete risk assessments as appropriate and safety and care plans
• To work with other partner agencies e.g. children's services / safeguarding etc.
• To look at undertaking ongoing support work for young people in crisis, to refer as appropriate and then review on return to services.
• To complete sessional work with the young people on an ongoing basis as work directs.
• To work with risk and complexity and priorities
• To manage a caseload and escalate any matters of concern or uncertainty.

Nursing Qualifications and Requirements:

• Hold a PIN number as a registered mental health nurse.
• Fully enhanced valid DBS
• Must have own vehicle and valid business insurance.
