Job Description :
Eames Consulting are delighted to be working with a leading banking group with the search for a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, focusing on IRB, to join their esteemed team in London. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the accurate and timely reporting of regulatory metrics, focusing on credit risk weighted assets under the IRB approach. You will play an integral part in ensuring the success of regulatory reporting processes, working alongside a talented team to drive continuous improvements and support key regulatory change initiatives. Duties -
  • Perform the calculation and analysis of credit risk-weighted assets under the IRB approach on a monthly basis.
  • Produce relevant management information (MI) for presentation to the FRISK and Capital Adequacy Committees.
  • Coordinate and support monthly FRISK meetings.
  • Ensure that adequate documentation is maintained relating to processes and assumptions.
  • Provide IRB inputs for the annual ICAAP process.
  • Collaborate with the IRB development team to identify and test improvements within Axiom.
  • Develop COREP reporting capabilities to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the implementation of Basel 3.1, including developing processes and conducting impact analyses of proposed regulatory changes.
  • Provide input and support to regulatory change processes, including assisting in the definition of requirements for projects and new reporting standards.
Requirements -
  • Experience in a capital regulatory reporting role within the banking industry, specifically in performing IRB reporting - Essential
  • Knowledge of Basel 3.1 implementation and regulatory frameworks.
  • Ability to break down complex information, analyse patterns, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Hold an accountancy qualification - ACA / ACCA / CIMA (Preferred but not essential)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
