Reinsurance Technician - Eames Consulting : Job Details

Eames are currently working with a well-regarded insurer who are looking to hire a Ceded Reinsurance Technician. This position will be expected to deliver accurate and punctual post-placement administration of the insurer's Ceded reinsurance program, playing a key part in their Ceded Reinsurance Operations team.

Role Responsibilities:

·Administer reinsurance contracts to ensure compliance with all contractual obligations

·Ensuring all ceded reinsurance contracts are accurately recorded in the policy admin system

·Administer payment requests and credit control recoveries balances

·Calculate and process facultative and excess of loss reinsurance recoveries

·Provide pro-active customer service to operations, underwriting, actuarial and finance teams.

·Assist in the preparation of various information to aid the analysis and placement of reinsurance programmes

Skills and Experience:

·The applicants will be expected to possess a good level of systems and data knowledge and a strong understanding of technical Ceded RI concepts.

·Circa 3 years' experience in a similar role.

·A good level of insurance and reinsurance knowledge required.

·Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Suite of applications with particular focus on Excel

·Ability to work effectively as part of the Ceded Reinsurance Team and with key stakeholders across different functions within the organisation.
