Job Description :
We are currently representing a prestigious international bank that is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager to join their Commercial Banking – Corporate Banking Department. This role is crucial for assisting the Head of Commercial & Strategy in both acquiring new corporate clients and maintaining existing relationships within the target market.Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and manage a business pipeline, focusing on new business and revenue generation in Real Estate, M/SME, and trade financing clients.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key Relationship Managers (RMs) and decision-makers across the bank's global network jurisdictions.
  • Oversee the existing portfolio and onboard new lending clients, particularly focusing on the international financing needs of Pakistani resident clients and corporate entities.
  • Identify opportunities and work on large loan facilities being syndicated within the bank's network.
  • Review and prepare credit proposals for the Corporate Banking Department before submission to the credit/risk departments.
  • Liaise with the Credit Admin Department and Credit Analysis Unit to ensure efficient processing of credit approvals, facility implementation, and funding release.
  • Guarantee that credit proposals undergo comprehensive financial analysis and are submitted in a timely manner.
  • Provide periodic sector information and maintain accurate records to ensure robust data quality and MI reporting.
  • Serve as the point of contact in the absence of the Head of Commercial & Strategy and assist in assigned projects/tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in UK Commercial/Corporate Banking or equivalent markets such as Pakistan, UAE, and South Africa.
  • At least 10 years of experience in client management and business development.
  • Profound knowledge and experience in credit analysis and credit writing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
