As a Relief Night Care Worker, your primary responsibility will be to provide attentive and compassionate care to service users during night shifts. You will play a key role in ensuring their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met, in line with CrossReach’s Christian ethos and mission. From delivering personal care to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment, your work will uphold the dignity and individuality of each service user.
You will support service users with accessing equipment, reviewing care plans, and liaising with healthcare professionals as needed. Additionally, you will monitor nutritional needs, promote mental and physical well-being, and maintain high standards in managing personal belongings. The role also involves responding to emergencies and professionally handling communications during night hours.
This flexible position requires a commitment to fostering a supportive and respectful environment while facilitating service users' spiritual practices. You will be encouraged to engage in training opportunities and work towards professional qualifications, ensuring that you grow alongside the meaningful contributions you make to the lives of those in your care.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
