About the RoleAs an RE Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons in Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment where students can critically engage with a variety of religious traditions and worldviews.
  • Encourage students to develop their own understanding of moral and ethical issues, promoting tolerance and respect for diversity.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop a stimulating and effective curriculum that supports student achievement.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and participation in school events.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Religious Education or a related field.
  • Experience teaching RE at secondary level is preferred, but we welcome applications from newly qualified teachers.
  • Strong classroom management skills and a passion for education.
  • A commitment to promoting diversity, respect, and understanding in line with the school's ethos.
