The Firm

We are recruiting for as a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants who are seeking a qualified audit and accounts senior to join the firm. They have a long-established client base which has grown in recent years and is predominantly made up of mid-sized companies above the statutory audit threshold.

They take a very mature and modern view of working practices, and they have a nearly fully remote model and flexible start/finish hours around core hours. The hybrid model is very open, some employees attend the office only twice a month for team meeting.

The role

The position is split 75% audit and 25% accounts. You will be assisting the managers with the audit planning and undertaking detailed testing. The preparation and submission of financial statements including corporation tax, and the review of such work delegated to the outsourcing team. Preparation of self-assessment tax returns. Production of monthly management accounts.
