Role: Reservations Coordinator - ImmediateLocation: LondonSalary / Rate of pay: From £13.50 per hour (DOE)

Platinum Recruitment is working in partnership with a popular Hotel in London and we have a fantastic opportunity for an immediate Reservations Coordinator to join their team on an interim basis, starting this week.

What's in it for you?

• Monday and Friday (Office hours) - no weekends
• Hourly Pay
• Weekly pay (paid each Friday)

What's involved?

• Respond to all communications from guests, travel agents and referral networks that have come in via email, telephone, fax or CRS (Central Reservations System)
• Dealing with guest queries, requests, and resolving any complaints
• Processing commission claims
• Dealing with over bookings and book outs
• Understanding room types available, location, layout, selling status, rates, and benefit packages
• Know the credit policy of the hotel and how to code each reservation
• Prepare confirmation correspondence
• Process cancellations and modifications promptly
• Helps develop room revenue and occupancy forecasts

Requirements:

• Proven experience of Group Reservations and OPERA PMS
• Proven experience of managing extranets is essential
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Immediately available with the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided)
