Resident Team Leader Opportunity - Join a Leading Build to Rent Provider!

Our client is looking for a Resident Team Leader to join their Build to Rent (BTR) development. This exciting opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in BTR, Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), or residential environments. About the Role

This role is based within a high-quality Build to Rent development, designed to provide residents with modern, convenient, and community-focused living. You'll work 40 hours per week across 5 of 7 days, including weekends, with shifts of 8 hours between 08:00 and 20:00, as set by the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Team Leadership:

  • Lead a small team of 2 Resident Team Members, ensuring the highest standards of customer service.
  • Anticipate and exceed resident expectations while reporting to the General Manager.
  • Assist the General Manager with team rota management and task allocation.
  • Foster a motivated, positive, and results-oriented team culture.
  • Handle complaints with empathy and ensure residents feel valued.
  • Play a key role in creating a vibrant, enjoyable living environment for residents in the BTR community.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee administrative tasks such as logging maintenance requests, tenancy management, and monitoring rental accounts.
  • Take the lead on resident engagement initiatives, including organizing and running community events within the BTR property.
  • Manage tenancy processes, including AST creation, move-ins/outs, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Support rent arrears recovery in line with company policy.
  • Collaborate with senior team members, stakeholders, and clients to improve operational efficiency.
  • Stay informed on local amenities, industry trends, and best practices to enhance the resident experience.
  • Be part of the on-call rota and remain flexible to meet the needs of the building and its residents.

Leasing Support:

  • Build strong relationships with external leasing agents to help drive occupancy and revenue.
  • Assist with leasing activities, including touring the property with prospects, following up on leads, and supporting sales conversions to maintain high occupancy levels.
