Salary: £21,891.66 - £22,868.75 per annum

Hours: 25 Hours per week

About the role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to provide high-quality care to individuals with complex health needs and intellectual disabilities. About you:

Essential Criteria:

The ideal candidate will have:

· Qualifications & Experience: QCF/Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) and at least two years' experience in a similar role.

· Communication & Teamwork: Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to write care plans, risk assessments, and work collaboratively with professionals.

· Adaptability & Proactivity: Ability to respond to changing care needs, proactively safeguard residents, and manage incidents effectively.

· Knowledge & Compliance: Understanding of key legislation (Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Equality Act 2010, DoLS) and commitment to best care practices.

· Empathy & Emotional Intelligence: Sensitivity to service users' strengths and needs, ensuring a supportive and respectful approach.

· Commitment to Professional Development: Willingness to engage in further qualifications and specialist training in Dementia Care, Autism, and End of Life Care.
