Role: Residential Conveyancer

Salary: £40,000 - £65,000

PQE: Min 3+ years

Location: Brighton office

Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm

Residential Conveyancing Fee earner Job Summary:

My client’s established practice is seeking to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Fee earner who can handle a varied conveyancing caseload and to join our clients expanding team, someone who can handle between 25-30 new residential Conveyancing files each month to include residential sale and purchase files both freehold and leasehold.

Our client is an award winning Law firm and are a recognised name when it comes to their conveyancing department, with awards from Sunday times and regional conveyancing firm of the year (London and South East)

Residential Conveyancing Fee earner should be able to:

• Run a substantial caseload and perform a full range of tasks with limited supervision;
• Act independently when establishing priorities and managing deadlines;
• Work well within a team;
• Utilise your experience and knowledge of conveyancing;
• Communicate, and build relationships, with clients and third parties in a professional manner;
• Provide good customer service; and assist the team to ensure company targets are met.

Residential Conveyancing Fee earner duties & Responsibilities:

• Complete tasks efficiently, accurately and within specified timescales, such as:
• Manage a substantial caseload of residential caseload consisting of, sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfer of equity, new build and shared ownership
• Checking contract documentation, mortgage offers and search results.
• Replying to legal enquiries
• Resolving queries
• Dealing with exchange of contracts and completion of transactions
