What you’ll be doing

The successful Retrofit Coordinator’s primary objective will be to support residents through the retrofit process. This will involve participation in community engagement events to promote the concept and benefits of retrofit. You will be acting on behalf of residents to ensure the whole retrofit process is as smooth as possible and compliant with PAS 2035.

Key duties include:

  • Ensure all retrofit projects are PAS 2035 compliant from assessment to evaluation, checking designs, specifications and assessments.
  • Produce whole house retrofit plans to PAS 2035 protocols for energy efficiency retrofit of domestic buildings with a fabric first approach.
  • Engage with funding options and client specific pathway; SHDF, ECO4, LAD or relevant government schemes

About the team

This is an exciting time to join our expanding energy efficiency team, the successful Retrofit Coordinator will be working closely with an Energy sustainable lead, Project Surveyors, Property Inspectors, Technical Manager and Strategic Asset Manager. The object of the energy efficiency team is to ensure all properties are EPC C by 2030. This will ensure warmer homes, cheaper bills for our customers and reduce the carbon emissions.

More about you

The Retrofit Coordinator will be expected to develop retrofit designs both sympathetic to the property, the customer requirements and financial parameters. You will play a key role in delivering our energy improvement targets and ambitions.

Your Skills:

  • Strong customer service skills
  • Be qualified with a level 5 diploma in Domestic Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management
  • Experience in construction project planning and/ or delivery
  • A background of project delivery in retrofit >5m in value
  • A background of data analysis
  • Strong stakeholder management with internal colleagues and external partners
  • A background of leading projects dealing with scale and costs.

At the same time, you will demonstrate resilience and the desire to work in an interesting environment where no day is ever the same!

We will need to take up a Disclosure and Barring Check for this role which we will do for you when you start.
