Revenue Manager - MRK Associates : Job Details

MRK are pleased to be working exclusively with our leading client who are looking for a Revenue Manager to join their team on a permanent basis based in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

This job would suit someone with at least 2 years of revenue management experience in a large hotel with strong expertise in a MICE-driven business mix. This role involves building rates, packages, and sales strategies in the hotel inventory systems while managing inventory allocation, pricing recommendations, and revenue analysis.

This hotel recently secured a major investment which will result in completely renovated rooms and public areas, including a brand-new bar, restaurant and terrace, resulting in a growth of 500 rooms. The hotel's commitment to responsible tourism and sustainability has given them the aim to become an enhancement to the city of Amsterdam.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in either Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, or Hotel Management, and will bring a proactive and innovative approach to their role. They will possess hands-on experience with Marriott systems, including Marriott RevMax, MARSHA, OneYield, and Opera, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and strategic thinking. Fluency in English is essential, and the right to work in the Netherlands is required.

Job responsibilities:

• Deliver effective pricing and ensure optimal inventory for all revenue streams and market segments.
• Make pricing and positioning recommendations for the hotel and conduct analysis of revenue, profit and demand associated with hotel rooms and space inventory.
• Contribute to forecasts, budgets, weekly and daily projections.
• Analyse sales strategy effectiveness and prepare historical and future analysis of revenue and profit opportunities.
