Reward and Compensation Specialist - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new companyHays is working with a client in the professional services industry to recruit a Reward & Compensation Specialist to join their Belfast-based team.

Your new roleAs a Reward & Compensation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

• Providing guidance, analysis and reporting on policies to managers
• Lead the compensation survey process, working with HR colleagues, business leaders
• Study and analyse market data and trends
• Produce standard periodic and ad hoc reporting and track key issues and trends in compensation through benchmarking and gathering market intelligence from internal and external recruiters
• Support the ongoing development of company compensation practices, policies, and processes
• Collaborate with the recruiting team to develop competitive compensation offers for new hires
• Support the annual compensation review process of C-Suite executives

What you'll need to succeed

• Education equivalent to a bachelor's degree in business or human resources
• Previous experience in compensation analysis with a basic understanding of survey submission procedures and job matching
• Prior human resource-related work experience in employee relations, benefits, recruiting, and HR systems is preferred
• IT proficient with an advanced understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to create alternative solutions
• Able to work flexible hours or overtime as needed
