This family run business is currently seeking a Reward & Benefits Manager for their UK Property business, covering London, Liverpool and other vibrant cities across the UK. Reporting to the HR Operations Director this role will have responsibility for ensuring their reward and benefits strategy and processes are effectively and efficiently delivered and that employees are rewarded fairly, in line with market requirements and business needs.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting the HR Director and HR Business Partners in delivering reward and benefits policies and programmes in line with business goals and objectives.
- Assisting with mid-year and annual performance rating processes, managing the timetable, communications and conducting the relevant analysis.
- Preparation and reviewing of REMCO documents.
- Assisting with HRIS system requirements, production of relevant models, drafting communications and relevant reports and packs as necessary.
- Designing and reviewing bonus schemes, including STIP and LTIPs.
- Working with the Senior Analyst ensuring processes and specialist operational aspects of reward in the UK, i.e pay reviews, deferrals, LTIP tracking etc are delivered in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Ensuring all benefits are delivered in a timely, accurate and user-friendly way.
- Reviewing policies as necessary to ensure that they remain competitive.
- Developing appropriate job profiles and architecture for job roles within the UK. Implement this within the HRIS system and ensuring processes are in place to maintain this.
- Maintaining firm’s Certificate of Sponsorship and relationship with support providers providing global mobility advice on tax matters.
- Providing oversight and direction of HRIS matters including system roadmap. Accountable for system contract renewals. Ensuring analytics and reports are in line with business needs.
- Effective management of two direct reports to deliver team goals providing guidance and direction when required and support members of the team with their development.
Key requirements
- Experience of benefits, reward and reward business partnering (more emphasis on the reward side)
- An effective project manager with experience of planning and managing both reward and benefits review cycles.
- Experience of preparing reports, documents and papers for Executive and/or Remuneration Committees.
- Experience of communicating with Senior Stakeholders.
- Good numerical and analytical skills. Able to produce sophisticated analysis and communicate key messages with clarity and brevity.
- Experience of job architecture and benchmarking - both job matching and data provision as well as analysis of the results back to the business.
- Previous experience of Workday or a similar HRIS.
- People management or team leadership experience.
