Risk Analyst/Associate - Middle Office (6 month contract - London)

Marshall Wolfe are seeking a Risk Analyst/Associate to join our investment client based in London. This person will sit within Middle Office and play a key role in supporting equity derivatives trading, ensuring seamless trade execution, reconciliations, and risk mitigation.

You’re focus will be on day-to-day risk and trading surveillance, ensuring positions are booked and maintained correctly in the risk systems. You will have knowledge and expertise with products (e.g. Synthetics) and risk systems, working within a high-performing, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide front-to-back operational support for equity derivative trading, ensuring seamless trade execution, risk monitoring, and reconciliations
• Act as a key liaison between trading desks, brokers, sales, risk teams, and operations
• Oversee trade booking, lifecycle management, and ledger integrity for equity derivatives
• Drive process improvements and enhance risk control frameworks
• Ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency across trade flows

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience in middle office operations, trade processing, or risk management within an equities environment
• Strong understanding of equity derivatives, cash securities & listed derivatives
• Excellent problem-solving, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced financial environment

Analyst Level: Ideal for candidates with 1-2 years of experience

Associate Level: Suitable for those with 3-5 years of experience

6 month+ contract - Inside IR35- 5 Days in the London office
