This is a key role at an exciting time in the evolution of the Risk function to support the Senior Risk Manager and wider Risk function. You will work and support colleagues across the Risk function, including the Risk, Compliance, Financial Crime and Data Protection teams and will have opportunities to learn about other areas of the Quilter business. This is an ideal role for someone with some significant experience of developing data architecture, and Power BI within a Risk management context, and who would like to further develop and learn about risk management and oversight in a supportive and friendly environment. Affluent Risk Director About the RoleLevel: Level 4 Department: Risk Location: Southampton, United Kingdom or London, United Kingdom (hybrid working) Contract type: Permanent, Full-Time Non-regulatedDeveloping data architecture and data structures to facilitate and enhance the Risk functions reporting analytics and initiatives to fully leverage risk and compliance data in order to support and challenge the business in ensuring on-going adherence to the Quilter Risk Management Framework. The key elements of the role are as follows: Data Architecture: proactively develop and enhance Risk data architecture to support delivery of the Risk functions digitalisation strategy. Risk Systems: development of Power BI and Excel reporting to keep pace with changes within the IRM system to fully leverage IRM data. Support other enhancement initiatives associated with the IRM system and provide general support, maintenance, and training in relation to the IRM system and Power BI. Data Analytics: analysis and interpretation of risk related data, including Risk Events and Risk and Control Self-Assessments to identify themes and provide insight, highlighting areas of focus/improvement for management. Data Quality: oversee, challenge and work with the business to enhance data quality within the Integrated Risk Management (IRM) system. Risk Reporting: supporting a variety of risk reporting activities, including assessment and analysis of risk data and preparation of reporting to Risk Governance Fora. Risk Management Framework (RMF): proactively support the broader development and enhancement of the RMF.   • Strong data architecture and analytical skills are essential, with particular emphasis on Excel and comprehensive expertise with Power BI.
  • You will have experience in the financial services industry and a sound understanding of risk management methodologies.
  • You will have excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and have a proactive mindset to continue to improve processes for the team and the wider business.
  • The role will require you to be able to work independently in supporting the business with its risk management and reporting obligations.
