ROAD FREIGHT IMPORT AND EXPORTS - Heathrow Personnel : Job Details

My clients a global freight forwarder, seeking an Import and Export road freight clerk to join their busy team in Birmingham.

Duties would include:

• Handling road freight operations
• Sending pre-advice
• Monitoring shipments start-finish
• SOP's
• Transport planning for same day collections
• Liaising with hauliers to provided quotations for special collections/ deliveries
• Updating customers
• Invoicing
• General admin/ data entry

Skills required:

• Experience handling road freight
• Knowledge of European groupage
• Ability to work well under pressure
• PC literate
• Good customer service skills

Working hours:

• Monday - Friday 08.30am - 1730pm
