Road Freight Operator

Road Freight Operator Role Overview:

• Manage European groupage services, handling freight movements across international and domestic routes.
• Coordinate freight from origin to destination, working closely with customers, international partners, and suppliers.

Road Freight Operator Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure smooth transportation of freight, both within Europe and across international borders.
• Maintain communication with customers, overseas partners, and suppliers to facilitate efficient movement.
• Accurately calculate costs and charges manually.
• Work with taxable weight calculations.
• Complete necessary Customs documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with team members while maintaining a strong degree of autonomy.

Road Freight Operator Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in European road freight operations.
• Strong understanding of road freight processes and logistics.
• Ability to calculate freight costs and manage financials.
• Familiarity with taxable weight calculations.
• Proven customer service skills.
• Experience handling Customs paperwork.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently.
