Road Freight Trainee - Right Now Recruitment : Job Details

Right Now Group are working with a Global Forwarder who are looking to bring aboard a new young addition to their Manchester office. This individual will be joining their Road Freight team, focused on Surface Transportation.The ideal candidate will be a recent college leaver, with ambition, drive and excellent communication skills.Responsibilities of a Road Freight Trainee:

• Taking requests and resolving them effectively and as efficiently as possible
• Speaking with overseas agents and clients, precisely and accurately
• Support of Senior Account Manager with day-to-day operations
• Ensuring the department manager is aware of the shipment status's
• Entering data into in-house system, generating orders and instruction for suppliers
• Input relevant information into internal system following strict procedures

Requirements of a Road Freight Trainee:

• Keen to learn the industry
• Excellent Attention to Detail
• An interest in Logistics, ideally Road Freight
• Ability to liaise with global network of suppliers, agents and hauliers
• Drive to succeed

Salary: £21,000Location: ManchesterShift: Mon-Fri 9am-5.30pm
