RTR Senior Accountant - Broadgate Search Ltd : Job Details

My client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their business on a 6 month day rate contract. The role is based in Leeds and is a hybrid working pattern so candidates must be commutable to Leeds and happy to go into the office.

In this role, you'll manage reconciliation, reporting, and approval processes, working closely with Group Finance and external auditors. You'll also handle stakeholder relationships, address ad hoc queries, and oversee direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead RTR balance reconciliations, journal adjustments, and reporting

• Preparation and review of RTR reports for internal and external reporting

• Support Group Finance, external audits, and stakeholder relationships
• Drive continuous process improvements and maintain compliance with policies
• Provide feedback and guidance to team members, ensuring high standards

Requirements:

• Qualified or working towards ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification
• 3+ years in accounting, ideally within retail or FMCG sectors
• Knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and SAP (certification a plus)
• Strong Excel skills; experience in a multicurrency environment preferred
