Food/FMCG business requires an S&OP Manager to build and optimise planning processes. Applicants need; demand planning or S&OP experience gained within either Food or FMCG. Candidates from a Business Intelligence background will also be considered.
The S&OP Manager will be supported by a team of 2 Planners and will be responsible for leading all demanding planning, S&OP and forecasting activities for the business, both strategic and operational.
Specific duties of the S&OP Manager include:
- Leading the S&OP process to ensure alignment between supply chain, demand planning, and production activities
- Facilitating and coordinating monthly S&OP meetings
- Collaborating with various departments to gather and analyse data for effective decision making
- Developing and monitoring KPIs to measure the efficiency of S&OP activities
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain and demand planning processes
- Ensuring accurate forecasting and inventory management to meet business goals
- Lead, manage and mentor a team of 2.
S&OP Manager applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Experience in a demand planning or S&OP role, at senior or strategic level
- Previous experience within Food or FMCG sectors
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools, modelling and planning software
- Capable of driving change, process and continuous improvement activities
- Collaborative, open and communicative team player
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders and work cross-functionally
