In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of customer accounts, fostering and maintaining strong relationships, addressing customer inquiries, and cross-selling a variety of products to both new and existing clients to achieve long term success.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the portfolio of sales accounts to achieve long term business aims.
- Management of top spend customers within the brand portfolio.
- Develop positive relationships by offering great customer service to each account.
- Generate new business using existing accounts and leads from marketing activity.
- Resolve customer queries in a timely manner by engaging the full team.
- Report on the status of accounts and sales activity.
- Monitor agreed sales metrics to spot trends and influence future activity.
- Provide ideas to improve commercial and overall company performance.
- Contribute to growth of the commercial team and the business as a whole.
Requirements:
- Experience in an electrical or manufacturing sales role would be an advantage, but not a necessity.
- Hands on experience delivering exceptional customer service.
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organisational skills.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics.
- PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office and Sage Accounts.
- BA degree in Business, Marketing or other relevant field desirable.
