We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Account Manager to join our client's team, located in the Chelmsford area. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in their continued growth and to develop and maintain relationships with key clients, ensuring that they continue to deliver excellent service and exceed customer expectations.
As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with existing key accounts, as well as identifying opportunities for growth and new business development.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and clients.
- Support the sales team to ensure smooth deal flow.
- Onboard clients, providing clear guidance through all processes.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, delivering excellent service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Proactively share updates on new products, features, and enhancements with partners, trained to effectively communicate the value and benefits of these additions.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to existing users, leveraging relationships and understanding of their specific needs and pain points.
- Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with partners across various job functions, including sales, marketing, project management and customer support.
- Update CRM systems daily to ensure accurate tracking of client interactions.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profit.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of products.
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly targets
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement
Your Background:
- Proven account management or similar
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels
- Experience in delivering client-focused product portfolio based on customer needs.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and proactive with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent listening and negotiation skills
- Strong user of Microsoft Office Suite
- Full UK Driving Licence.
