Our client are a fast growth business design and installation business.

They are now looking for an Admin Assistant to join their busy team

This role reports into the Accounts Manager and you would be responsible for processing sales and purchase orders, dealing with customer enquiries, raising sales invoices and processing of purchase invoices.

This is an ideal role if you already have some previous experience working in an office environment where you have demonstrated your strong attention to detail.

They are looking for someone with excellent organisation skills and the ability to pick up new IT systems quickly. You should also be competent with using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, self-motivated, flexible, adaptable and have a willingness to learn new things.

Responsibilities include:

  • Setting up new customer accounts on Microsoft Dynamics Nav, and setting up credit limits with HSBC where appropriate. Maintaining and updating of these account details as required.
  • Processing customer sales orders on the system ensuring that the customer account is active and that there is adequate credit to cover the order value.
  • Making any required amendments to sales orders as requested by the Customer, Sales Representative or Commercial department.
  • Dealing with customer queries regarding products/delivery/general information and resolving any problems that occur with customer sales orders which may involve liaising with other departments.
  • Obtaining PODs from suppliers and keeping track of anticipated delivery dates.
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Raising purchase orders as per the instructions of the Sales Representative
  • Processing purchase invoices
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks
  • General cover for Accounts Manager

Salary : 24000 - 25000
