Job Description :

As a Sales Admin supporting the sales department and senior management you will play an important role in the marketing and growth of the Business. You will be contacting potential new customers via enquiries and Working closely with the Sales Manager and Head of Marketing.

Our client is an industry leading family owned manufacturing business based in Birmingham seeking an ambitious and confident Sales Admin to join their Marketing department and play a crucial role in the growth of the organisation.

Description

  • Managing correspondence, including calls, enquiry e-mails and customer intro packages.
  • Creating reports to support senior management when required.
  • Communicating with contractors and architects to identify requirements of proposed projects and potential leads.
  • Monitoring specifications and reaching out to the lead on the project.
  • Helping the sales team to manage major projects and ensure they are followed up promptly.
  • Follow up and update leads which have been quoted but not yet converted.
  • Assisting the Head of Marketing with activities including:

Development of social media posts.

LinkedIn outreach.

Website updates.

E-mail campaigns

Profile

This Sales Admin position requires a people person who is inquisitive and happy to chat with external stakeholders about upcoming projects and their needs for these projects. You will need to be confident on the phone and highly organised to manage a range of leads and enquiries. A little creative flare is also key. Overall, you will need:

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Previous lead generation/marketing experience
  • Good knowledge of IT system including Microsoft Office
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Be flexible in your approach with an ability to identify and manage priorities
  • Confident, courteous & professional
  • Good communication skills and people skills essential

Job Offer

  • Working hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm on Friday
  • 23 holiday days plus statutory holidays.
  • Competitive salary range of £23,000 to £25,000 (DOE).
  • People pensions with a 4% company contribution, matched by the employee.
  • Free Parking is available
