As a Sales Advisor based in St Helier (Jersey), you’ll be responsible for:  

• Assisting customers at the trade counter by identifying their requirements and providing product recommendations.

• Dealing with customer enquiries via phone & email promptly and courteously, with a proactive attitude.

• Putting quotes together for customers and process orders

• Proactively reaching out to lapsed customers via phone calls

• Building and sustaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

You will be working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm and one Saturday every three weeks from 8am - 12pm which will be paid as overtime.

And here’s what we’d like you to have: 

• 5 years residency on the island essential

• Plumbing and heating industry or merchant experience is beneficial but not essential as comprehensive training will be provided.

• Customer Service/Sales or Warehouse experience is ideal

• A keenness to take on board all training opportunities available to you

• A strong work ethic
