Your new role

We are now inviting applications for the role of Sales and Profit Analyst to join a busy team. You will be working in the Financial Planning environment with the sales teams. The main responsibilities of this role include:

• Leading the business to ensure the sales performance is understood on a weekly basis to help drive the future performance of the business.
• Understanding the drivers of performance and using these and market insights to lead the sales budget, forecast, and strategic planning processes for the business.
• Supporting the development and implementation of commercial plans, strategic initiatives, and relevant business projects.
• Adopting a business partnering approach with the sales teams and other key stakeholders.
• Tracking and providing insights into market performance and economic factors impacting sales performance and business profitability, including inflation reporting.
• Ensuring appropriate and strong financial controls and processes are embedded across the business.
• Supporting the business with the management and reporting of customer, brand, and store profitability.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate would have/be:

• Professional Accountancy Qualification - ACA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.
• Previous experience in an analyst/commercial role.
• Significant experience managing stakeholders and operating with senior stakeholders within an organisation.
• Highly numerate and strong at data analysis and interpretation.
