Overview

GGB is seeking an exceptionally motivated Team Leader to join our Brand Partners team, specialist non-standard home insurance team in Wakefield. This role offers an encouraging opportunity to coach and mentor a team of 10 Sales and Service Consultants, delivering world-class customer service and driving team success. As a Team Leader, you will have line management responsibilities and the chance to inspire and lead your colleagues in an outstanding and dynamic environment.

How you'll make an impact

In this role, you will be managing a team of 10 Sales and Service Consultants who are all currently performing to an impressive standard! Some of your main responsibilities will be to;

  • Motivate and manage team morale, addressing employee relations issues, and ensuring team efficiency and engagement.
  • Develop and monitor progress towards targets, review branch profitability, and communicate findings to senior management.
  • Mentor the team to upsell additional products and meet monthly sales targets.
  • Conduct regular one-to-one and team meetings for coaching, feedback, support, and career development.
  • Use data for accurate performance management and communicate results to the team.
  • Ensure financial targets are met and the team adheres to budget lines.
  • Perform team audits to ensure attention to detail and adherence to scripts.
  • Empower the team with knowledge of products and policies.
About You
  • Preferred knowledge of insurance with a proven track record in the industry.
  • Minimum of 1 year managerial experience in a regulated office environment.
  • CII qualification preferred.
  • Regulatory awareness and ability to comply with FCA guidelines.
  • Experience in managing, leading, or supporting a team is required.
  • Ability to accurately interpret data and present findings clearly.
  • Commitment to learning and developing industry knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills with a sales-driven and motivational attitude.
  • Approachable and open-minded management style with a genuine desire to help the team thrive.
  • Excellent communication skills for listening, coaching, mentoring, and supporting colleagues.
  • A generous base salary of £26,000 - £30,000 DOE plus bonuses
  • Monday – Friday, 8 hour working day between 9am – 8pm. One in Three Saturdays, 9am -1pm
  • Eligible to work in the UK
