The Role of the Sales Engineer:
- This Sales Engineer position is a hybrid role of office/home and field work.
- You will be tasked with contacting new and existing customers to understand their requirements with regards to PLC’s, sensors, control systems, vision systems and much more.
- You will be given full training on the product portfolio; position sensors, safety technology, industrial communications and systems for machines and will become an expert on all things industrial sensor.
- You will be speaking to a wide and diverse client base which consists of Factory automation, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, chemical companies amongst many others.
Benefits of the Sales Engineer:
- £50k Basic, £64k OTE Uncapped + Benefits + Executive Car.
The Ideal Person for the Sales Engineer:
- A sales background in electrical/electronic engineering would be best suited.
- Automation / PLC / Sensor experience.
- Some exposure to a sales engineering environment.
- Innovative, tenacious and positive.
- You must be an excellent communicator and have the ability to influence.
- ONC/HNC level qualification in engineering.
- Experience of sensor technology in a wide range of industrial automation applications would be desirable.
