- Creating strategic and tactical business plans for the food and beverage industry
- Building strong relationships with end users, integrators, machine builders and channel partners to deliver growth of market share and profitable sales
- Becoming recognised as an expert counterpart for the industry at an engineering and management level
- Utilising your own and the organisation’s engineering and product strengths to solve applications and sharing those successes within the community and on a number of platforms
- Collaboration with local sales teams and international counterparts, including support for sales on specific projects
- Building marketing plans for activities such as exhibitions, conferences, webinars and keynote presentations
Segment Sales Manager EMEAEssential Qualifications / Experience / Skills
- Experience carrying out a similar sales role, hunting and winning new business via customer referrals, market intel, and every other means within a business development position
- Strong technical understanding of machinery, automation etc. This is key, as you will be dealing with engineering-minded people such as engineering managers and discussing the products, how they work, how they can be customised and installed etc
- A team player who will be collaborative
- Willingness to travel (European travel)
