Sales Manager | remote/field-based | £45k + bonus + car | €330m turnover business
We are looking for an External Sales Manager to join a prestigious company with a 50-year history and a turnover of €320m, who supply technical textiles into manufacturers and designers. This role is ideal for an experienced salesperson who is comfortable driving customer growth nationally in a highly autonomous role.
Salary: £45k base salary + 10 to 15% annual bonus + company vehicle or car allowance.
Location: National role, 3 days on the road and 2 days at home or in the office (Leicester).
Duration: Permanent.
Day to day of the role:
- Responsible for the development of sales within your industry across the UK and Ireland.
- Support the customer base with pricing information, product offers, training, technical support and any other needs.
- Identify correct decision makers within target customers.
- Working alongside the office team whilst also working independently.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Arrange and conduct client visits to drive business growth.
- Understand the technical details of our product range to effectively communicate benefits to clients.
- Handle inbound enquiries with a customer-centric approach, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Required skills and qualifications:
- Experienced external new business hunter and relationship builder with a track record in delivering growth via new client wins and developing existing/past clients.
- Confident in working independently and showing natural leadership skills.
- Positive and enthusiastic mindset.
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills.
- The ability to learn the technical details of a product range.
- Experience within the textiles, solar protection, modular building, temporary structure, tarpaulin, or marquee markets (ideal, but not essential).
