We are working exclusively on a retained basis with Klipspringer who are seeking a dynamic Food & Beverage Production Sales Manager.
This will be to lead their sales team and drive sales strategy. The role is ideal for a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to achieving sales targets and departmental goals.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement the Food & Beverage Production sales strategy, including setting objectives, measurables, and ways of working.
- Review team performance regularly, reporting findings to the Sales & Marketing Director and implementing improvements.
- Manage resource planning and budgeting within the team.
- Handle recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
- Lead and motivate team members daily to achieve department KPIs.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to review performance and discuss training or support needs.
- Provide hands-on support with sales opportunities, including face-to-face meetings, Teams calls, and phone calls.
- Collaborate with other managers to synergise and achieve company targets.
- Manage daily team huddles and day-to-day resourcing to ensure adequate sales support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in leading and coaching a sales team.
- Strong track record of achieving sales objectives and effectively reporting on performance.
- Strategic thinker with excellent planning skills at both departmental and business levels.
- Exceptional communication and team management skills, capable of maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Experience in handling sales opportunities and interacting professionally with customers.
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation to support decision-making.
- Ability to quickly adapt to and become an ambassador for the company’s sales methodology.
