Are you a dynamic National Account Manager with a strong background in field sales, looking to drive growth and maintain high service levels in a fast-paced environment? Day-to-day responsibilities of the role:
- Cultivate new leads within the sales territory and visit potential new accounts to ascertain commercial viability.
- Travel throughout the territory, visiting customers on a recurring basis to build long-lasting relationships and grow business with existing customers.
- Manage multiple accounts simultaneously and represent the brand during all customer and prospect interactions.
- Sell the bimonthly sales cycle, including promotions for up to 15 different brands.
- Explain new initiatives to maintain and improve the current level of service and increase the percentage of exclusive brand sales within the territory.
- Discuss margins to reflect present spending and educate customers on the financial benefits of brand choices.
- Monitor industry competitors, new products, and market conditions, providing feedback to management.
- Maintain records of all sales leads and provide weekly and daily reports to the manager regarding site visits.
- Occasionally take customer orders during visits
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven track record in field sales and ability to generate leads.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct meetings and presentations efficiently.
- Strong commercial acumen and awareness.
- High degree of self-motivation and drive.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Competence with Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Word.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to work to tight deadlines.
