A rapidly expanding UK based distributor based in East Lancashire is recruiting for a Sales-Manager to join their team to lead their UK sales team.
Reporting to the General Manager, as Sales Manager, you will be integral to ensuring support and motivation to the sales team. The successful candidate can look forward to working in a fun environment with a friendly team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to sales team, helping them achieve individual and team goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Monitor customer performance and proactively identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
- Perform regular reviews and one to one’s.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in a sales leadership role
- Extensive experience in B2B sales, consistently exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence clients at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies to meet business objectives.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- A tenacious, driven work attitude.
Salary, working hours and benefits
- Fully office based role
- Up to £50,000 per annum basic plus commission
- 20 days holiday plus Bank holidays increasing with service
- Free parking
- Monday – Friday 8:45am-5:15pm
