What You Will Do
We have an exciting opportunity for an Area Sales Manager to drive sales growth in Scotland and North UK. In this role, you will establish a strong sales presence, proactively seeking new accounts to promote FireClass solutions and drive share of wallet (SOW). You will also manage and nurture existing customer relationships to achieve growth targets, ensuring both top and bottom-line success.
Your focus will be on:
Expanding our market by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Strengthening relationships with existing customers to maximize sales potential.
Promoting detection equipment through specialist fire systems integrators.
Generating leads for the Business Development team by identifying opportunities with end users and consultants.

How You Will Do It
Reporting to the Northern EU Sales Director, you will collaborate with key installers across the education, healthcare, industrial, and large commercial sectors. Your role will involve:
Building opportunities to bid on projects and presenting technical solutions at board level.
Managing leads and tracking sales performance using Salesforce.
Growing the sales pipeline and improving conversion rates to meet defined sales targets.
Identifying gaps in the market and developing relationships with potential Fire Systems Integrators.
Supporting sales strategies through events and market engagement initiatives.
Providing valuable feedback to Product Management on product enhancements and new product needs.
Collaborating with Application Engineers to support technical sales and ensure a successful close.
Aligning with other Johnson Controls brands to offer customers comprehensive, single-source solutions.
What We Look For
Do you have what it takes to succeed in this role? We are looking for candidates with:
Proven success in account management, specification sales, or project sales within a technical sector.
Experience in B2B technical solutions sales.
The ability to work independently and take initiative.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage internal teams to deliver outstanding customer service.
A track record of building and expanding relationships across an organization.
Strategic thinking and the ability to bring teams together for mutual success.
A full UK driving license.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, we highly value:
Experience in building surveys and fire/security system design.
Familiarity with CRMs such as Salesforce.com.
